On my first day of work, Rheena actually gave me the Change bracelet straight off her wrist. I didn't think too much of it except that it was a sweet way to welcome me into the MaeMae family. I think its safe to say that Rheena has made us all cry at some point! But it was a big deal to me because I dont like to cry - especially in front of anyone. I hate being vulnerable, it makes me uncomfortable. But that's the point, Rheena needed to make me feel uncomfortable to accept change. Learning to live authentically means validating the feelings that make me uncomfortable. It can be scary to be vulnerable but within that lies true connection to myself and others. Once I welcome vulnerability, I am open to changes.
